The Akshaya Patra Foundation
The Akshaya Patra Foundation, currently feeding freshly prepared nutritious meals to 1.2 million underserved children DAILY in eight states in over 7,000 schools in India, is hosting its inaugural Food for Education benefit event in Chicago. Akshaya Patra is a strategic intervention in education aimed at unlocking the vicious and perpetual cycle of poverty.
